SoudaSeal AP

DESCRIPTION: SoudaSeal AP (All Purpose) is a one part, high quality, gun
grade, moisture curing, elastomeric waterproofing and sealing
SMX® sealant designed for general construction. It has excellent
bond strength to nearly all porous and non-porous substrates
without the use of a primer.

USES:

• Expansion and connection joints in the building industry
• Sealing of joints in prefabricated buildings
• Movement joints in high rise construction
• Sealing between window and door frames
• Applications that should be painted with water based paints
  
  

ADVANTAGES:

  conditions

• flexible elastic rubber - movement accommodation up to +/-
  35%
• no bubble formation within sealant even in high temperature and humidity applications

• color stable and UV resistant
• ecological advantages - free of isocyanates, solvents, halogens and acids
• can be painted with all water based paints and many other
  systems (to be tested)
• primerless adhesion on many different substrates (except
  where water pressure may occur)

10.1 fl. oz. cartridge; 20 fl. oz. sausages

SHELF LIFE:
12 months in unopened packaging in a cool and dry storage
place at temperatures between 41°F and 77°F

LIMITATIONS:

• should not be used as a structural sealant
• may be painted, however due to the large number of paints
  and varnishes available we strongly suggest a compatibility
  test before application. The drying time of alkyd resin based
  paints may increase.
• should not be used as a glazing sealant
• should not be used for continuous immersion in water
• do not apply to freshly treated wood; treated wood must
  have been weathered for at least 6 months
• lower temperatures and humidity will extend curing time

CAUTION – FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY:
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Avoid skin and eye
contact. On Contact, uncured sealant could cause irritation to
skin and eyes. In case of eye contact, flush eyes with warm water
for 15 minutes, call a physician. For skin contact, remove sealant
with a paper towel. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting, call a
physician. SoudaSeal AP is manufactured for professional use
