Description:

IPATOP LEVELALL Primer is a solvent-free copolymer liquid that improves bond to substrates when applying IPA Systems LEVELALL_® Underlayment.  It eliminates dusting of cement, prevents formation of air bubbles and promotes integrated bonding.  It is non-toxic, non-flammable and non-explosive.

Uses:

Use as primer with IPA Systems LEVELALL_® Underlayment.

Surface Preparation:

All surfaces to be primed must be cleaned of any film, scale, loose material, oils, grease, old paint, curing compound and any other substance which might prevent bonding of the primer to the floor.  The floor should be dry and not in hot direct sunlight.  Hard surface floors such as ceramic tile, steel troweled concrete or terrazzo should be sanded, shot-blasted, scarified or otherwise roughened to aid bonding,

Application:

Apply evenly with a roller, broom or spray equipment and allow material to penetrate the floor and dry.  Primer can be used up to 12 hours prior to application of underlayment.  After 12 hours material should be dampened with water.  Porous surfaces may require two coats.  Brush off puddles.  Do not leave bare spots.

Drying Time:

Approximately 90 minutes.

Floor should be dry and not in hot direct sunlight.  Protect from freezing and store out of direct sunlight.  Do not install LEVELALL Primer or LEVELALL unless substrate and ambient temperatures are at least 40ºF (4.4ºC) and rising for the next 48 hours.

Product contains small amounts of formaldehyde and vinyl acetate which have been shown to cause cancer in animals.  There should be minimal risk when used with adequate ventilation.
